Privacy notice
Last updated 13 October 2026
This notice explains how we use your details when you take the data maturity check. Our website privacy policy covers apeiros.net in general.
Who we are
This data maturity check is run by Apeiros Holdings Ltd ("Apeiros", "we"), of 22 Wheatfield Way, Oakham, LE15 7UD, UK. We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the data controller. You can contact us at info@apeiros.net.
What we collect
- Your answers to the assessment questions, and the four profile questions (role, organisation size, sector and biggest data frustration).
- Your name, work email address, company and, if you give it, your LinkedIn profile address.
- Your choices about emails: whether you asked for your report, and whether you agreed to receive marketing, with the date and the exact wording you saw.
- How you found us, such as the LinkedIn post you followed, so we can see which posts work.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To work out your results and email your detailed report. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the report box.
- To tell Apeiros about your assessment so we can follow up on it. This is our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask for our report.
- To send you occasional data insights, only if you tick the separate marketing box. You can withdraw this at any time.
- To understand how the check is used and improve it, using anonymous data. This is our legitimate interest in improving our service.
Who we share it with
We use trusted companies to run this service. They process your data only on our instructions: Snowflake (data storage, in the United Kingdom), Microsoft Azure (hosting) and SendGrid (email delivery, which may process data outside the United Kingdom under approved safeguards). We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We delete your contact details 24 months after you complete the assessment, or sooner if you ask. We may keep your answers and results in anonymous form, with no name, email or company, to understand how organisations compare.
Cookies
We use one essential cookie that remembers your assessment for 30 days, so you can come back and carry on where you left off. It does not track you. We will ask before using any analytics or advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, email info@apeiros.net. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
